CBYC hosted the 2025 P Class Nationals over some not-very-summery weather from 6-11 January. The new format of running the Tanner Cup alongside the newly established Centenary Trophy and then the Tauranga Cup ensured everyone had 5 days of racing. CBYC had Nate Soper, Mila BLundell, Luca BLundell and Caleb Perano competing and all our sailors put in an excellent effort for solid performances... and a good number of trophies! We turned up the hospitality dial and enjoyed an all-in dinner very kindly sponsored by Ford Baker Valuation (Rick Chapman), woodfired pizza and a Paella night. A small but epic organising team of the Perano family, Connor/Blundell, and Sopers plus Brett Wilcox pulled off a great event. Thanks to all our volunteers including those from the club who measured, BBQ'd worked on water and land and to all the generous sponsors especially 4 Square Diamond Harbour. Charteris Bay has a reputation around the country as a fantastic venue and club and we couldn't have done it without so much great support from the CBYC family.
