Adult Learn To Sail Courses

Septemeber 2025- We are not currently offering any adult sailing programs.

At times Charteris Bay Yacht Club runs a learn to sail programme for adults and older teenagers. The course is tailored for complete novices or those who are rusty and needing a refresher course. The courses can now be sailied in our recently acquired RS Fevas. You will learn to rig, launch and retrieve your boat, to be able to sail a basic triangular course and to be able to right your boat from capsize. The aim of the course is to prepare you for club sailing.
