The F50s are soon to be flying on Whakaraupō Lyttelton Harbour when the ITM New Zealand Sail Grand Prix returns to Ōtautahi Christchurch on the 23-24 March 2024.

Following SailGP’s decision to not race in Auckland next year, Ōtautahi Christchurch has stepped in to ensure the event could go ahead in New Zealand in 2024.

With less than three months until the high-flying F50s take to local waters, it is going to be a busy time planning and preparing for another unforgettable event on Ōtautahi’s ultimate natural playground.  

As the host city agency for SailGP, ChristchurchNZ is keeping you in-the-know as the planning for this global sporting spectacle unfolds.
